What is vestibular:

Over 35% of Americans aged 40 years and older (69 million Americans) have had a vestibular dysfunction in their lives. Vestibular balance disorder is most commonly caused by an injury or aging. What is Vestibular physiotherapy:

Vestibular Physiotherapy is the vestibular rehabilitation therapy that helps in improving vestibular disorders. They work to treat and resolve vertigo, dizziness, visual disturbance, imbalance, nausea and/or vomiting, reduced ability to focus or concentrate, and fatigue.

Here are some tips and advice that we recommend for improving with the dizziness and other symptoms:

  • Gaze Stabilization exercise: A gazing stabilization exercise is a great way to restore your balance and dizi nesses. This can easily be done by simply sitting down and then slowly moving your head from left to right. This will benefit an individual as they can better focus their eye reflexes.
  • Balancing exercise: A balancing exercises will help in supporting one’s balance. This exercise can easily be done by standing in one sport and focusing your attention to a certain object and then close their eyes for a few seconds. This will allow a person to regain their balance as they improve their focus.
  • Rehabilitation exercises: There are a variety of rehabilitation exercises that can help depending on the individual. Some of them include head movements in a circling direction, turning your position while resting on a bed or simply walking and exercising.
  • Visiting a doctor: If you start noticing symptoms such as dizziness, disorientation, feeling off-balance, or blurred vision. Asking for help from your doctor can lead you to the right people and the right treatments to allow you to better yourself
